2010 Fraud Conference - UPDATED INFORMATION
Monday, August 30 and Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Sessions will begin at 8:30 am and end at 4:10 pm. 
Registration begins at 7:45 am on August 30 and at 8:00 am on August 31. 

A total of 16 hours is awarded for the conference - 12 hours of A&A and 4 hours of Ethics are planned.  Please RSVP Angie Cates at angie.cates@arklegaudit.gov and RSVP the number of hours you are attending for certificate purposes.   Parking is available in front of the Campus.

August 30th topics include Computer Forensics, 2009 Frauds in the News, Internal Controls and Fraud Prevention at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, and Conducting a Fraud Investigation. 

August 31st topics include The Gray Area Between Ethics and Fraud, and a presentation concerning the investigation of US Department of Defense frauds.

A  Chapter business meeting is scheduled for August 30 at 4:10 pm.

Conference fee is $75 which includes breaks and lunches.   Also, it is time to pay chapter dues which are $25.  Dues and registration fees totaling $100 may be paid in advance by mailing a check payable to AR Chapter of ACFE to Kim Williams, Treasurer, AR Division of Legislative Audit, Room 104, State Capitol Building, Little Rock, AR 72201, or may be paid at the door at the time of registration.

International Fraud Awareness Week

International Fraud Awareness Week is dedicated to increasing fraud awareness and advancing the global fight against fraud. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), along with official supporters of International Fraud Awareness Week from the public and private sector, are proactively taking the steps to minimize the impact of fraud by promoting anti-fraud education.
